Clear Cache

General steps to clear the cache depending on what you're referring to — a browser, a mobile app, or a computer system

*️⃣ Browsers :


🔹 Google Chrome
»» Click the 3-dot menu (top right).
»» Go to More tools > Clear browsing data.
»» Choose Time range (e.g., "All time").
»» Check Cached images and files.
»» Click Clear data.



🔹 Firefox
»» Click the hamburger menu ☰ (top right).
»» Go to Settings > Privacy & Security.
»» Scroll to Cookies and Site Data.
»» Click Clear Data.
»» Check Cached Web Content.
»» Click Clear.

🔹 Safari (macOS)
»» Go to Safari > Preferences.
»» Under the Advanced tab, enable Show Develop menu.
»» In the menu bar, click Develop > Empty Caches.

*️⃣ Clear App Cache on Android
»» Open Settings.
»» Tap Apps or Applications.
»» Choose the app.
»» Tap Storage.

»» Tap Clear Cache.
📌 Note: "Clear Data" will also remove settings and logins — only use that if needed.



*️⃣ Clear Cache on iPhone (iOS)
iOS doesn't offer a direct "clear cache" for all apps. You can:

🔹 For Safari:
Go to Settings > Safari > Clear History and Website Data.

🔹 For apps:
You usually need to uninstall and reinstall the app to clear its cache.

*️⃣ Clear Cache on Windows
»» Press Windows + R, type temp, hit Enter.
»» Delete all files in the Temp folder.
»» Also try prefetch and %temp% the same way.
